Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts
Damn it...my post got deleted again!! how great man...but this time is not blogger's fault...it's my internet sot sot...anyway..
i woke up early and meet xiaobian, ber and liyue to go NAFA to see their exhibits...so we ended up at bugis damn early and the shops werent open yet...so we decided to walk to NAFA though we dunno where the place is...and we passed by the famous Kuan Yin Thong Temple...so we decided to go in and 'shang xiang' and 'tian you'...i oso wanna do that lor..but itz that time of the month...saded man...though i'm a free-thinker i'm still more of a believer of buddhism...and u'll seldom see youngsters so devoted to buddhism nowadays...the whole world seems to be converting to christianity....
so after that..we finally found the campus...we had a hard time ok...and even wanted to take taxi there...even though itz just so near us..but in the end i think the driver dont even know where it is lor...so we found out way there nervertheless...and the first place we went to is to view the exhibits on Visual Communications...itz so cool!! all of the students have their own personalized namecards...and they each have to design different things for assigned products or advertisements...i think itz very cool lor...at least i get an idea what Visual Communications is about...i think ber suits that...
then we went to the multimedia de...where there's alot of advertisements and short movie clips...got one guy his works is damn funny..i like it...and i think xiaobian kinda suits that..coz she's those who will come up with funny ideas...i hope after seeing all these she can at least get an idea of what to do next time ba...
then after that we went to see the fine arts and interior design exhibits...which were not that nice...and that miss chong is beginning to feel bored already...kept asking us to leave...hmm dont think she's interested in all those stuffs ba...coz she's a future business woman ok!!
after touring NAFA for a about an hour i guess...i conclude that it's not the place for me..i like it..the subjects...but that's not my forte...
so after that we went to heeren...while the 2 rich gals (liyue and xiaobian) eat sakae...the 2 poor gals (ber and me) went to eat the economic wanton noodles at the graffiti cafe...and then we walk walk..and ended up at Far East...coz xiaobian say she wanna buy something to wear for her cousin's wedding...
